Cygna and Psamtik

This one was odd. I had plans to start making characters out of my drakes, and I found a good model for this pose on DA. After obtaining permission to use it, I selected two drake species of mine. Here's Cygna, a female electrum drake, and Psamtik, a green male geodrake. Interspecies romances are by no means unheard of among the drakes, and these two are no exception. Check my gallery for them.

In spite of the detail, this was something of a rushed job. Note the similar designs for the horns, limbs, and the quick background, as well as my choice for a wingless couple. I always use detailed wings, so that would have added more than a bit of time to this one. I Have the separate files for each layer, so I might produce a new version of this later. I'm aware of a few minor perspective issues, but if one thinks about the position the characters are in, it works out well. And no, they are NOT doing "it", so don't ask me to flag this as mature.

Also, you win the GTVA colossus if you can guess what each character is named after. xD

EDIT: This really needed another 20-30 minutes of work. I've never really drawn things in this pose or at this angle, and it shows. The feet, while not terrible, need some more work, as does some of the perspective.
